Burke and Hazelden

This is an exquisite, very decorative, c1890 Louis XV walnut armoire. It is made of hardwood with beautiful overlay veneers and every possible surface is adorned with fantastic floral carvings. It has decorative cabriole legs and escargot feet. The artist has lacquered the piece in shiny, mirrored-white gloss paint and unique abstract typography, employing trademark strokes and a bold expressive style. The internal surfaces of the armoire are painted in a black high gloss finish and branded with white strokes.
